This is a nice place to come staff friendly and helpful, it's reasonable for a carvery, this Toby carvery is just on outskirts of gloucester on the way to highnam, mayhill, Ross - on-Wye, Lydney,, Blakeney, Forest of Dean, its easy to get to and other direction Tewkesbury, Cheltenham.
The food on 26/09/22 seemed cold, meat was a bit chewy, and mash potato stoggy the plates were cold which I think hot plate is nice, other times gone there has been really good just not this time, We will go again but place try and see what you think

I’d rather pay the electric bill and by and cook my own was almost inedible except Yorkshire pudding and Cavery meat all the veg sides and condiments left a greasy film in your mouth making everything taste the same and the staff where more concerned with there social lives

Went to Toby for breakfast made very welcome excellent customer service helped us to our table food was excellent definitely recommend to family and friends

It was a very busy night and short staffed due to staff issues. But I must say the staff that were on coped very well and were very apologetic.... especially the management. Jack and Sarah.... hats off to them for there service..... but our meals was fantastic

Food good. Welcome staff good. Service at the table slow. Blonde women behind bar blunt, rude and had a foul attitude. Thankfully the manager was brilliant.

My Sister and Brother in law treated me to food here and the server could not have been more professional. She was kind and polite, offered options to keep the children entertained, told us not to worry about the mess and went out of her way to make us feel welcome.
